OOC: Happy Birthday to Lena
Lucky is there beside her when she wakes. In fact, he has woken up before her, fixed her breakfast which is waffles, only the one since she had so many sweets over the fairytale week. Hopefully, she's made a speedy recovery since then. He'll wake her up with a song played on his guitar before sliding over the breakfast for her.
It has everything that she loves on it, and he'll sit in bed with her and eat his own breakfast. He'll dress up in the cowboy outfit for her as part of her birthday gift, and there was likely quite a bit of birthday sex. In addition, he bought her about ten games so they can build a board game collection of their very own, and he's always thinking ahead like that, thinking of all the things they could build together to prepare them for the life they want to live afterward, after they're married. Along with that, he bought her one of those mini-jukebox machines for their bedroom since every room in their house should be filled with music.
And the day will be spent doing whatever she likes, there'll be a visit to the Crowbar where there's likely a cake, possibly a cookie cake because a regular cake would be too... regular.
At the end of the night, he would take her to visit the old couple that once showed them the way in darkness and then take her to that place that they went to for Valentine's day, the field of grass out under the stars so they could camp there beneath them.
Just the two of them.

None of them which will ever make her sad. There is no room for sadness in this day, this day she gets to spend with Lucky and her family and her friends. There's the sobering reality she didn't think she'd make it to twenty-five, and she very nearly didn't. It's a big part of why she enjoys the day to the fullest and does not waste one moment of it, not when there is so much to celebrate and so much to be thankful for. She spends every waking moment of said birthday with them and there is no other way she would've wanted to spend it.
There is also no better way to start said day than with him, and that song that's taken on a completely new meaning for her since he came into her life and sang it for her.
She will also take full advantage of that outfit now that she is a grown-up again, and can appreciate it like one. After they've spent time at thet Crowbar and there has been cake, she would've been very glad to see Henry and Grace, for the profound effect they had on them, and because they promised to keep in touch and neither of them are the sort to break their promises.
Lena would immediately know where he was taking her and why, and she'd love ending the night there. They would've had to bring a boardgame or two along with them, since she'd have wanted to test them out. She'd likely give a Lena-spin to them, like she is wont to do, but that's exactly why they should christen them so that he can learn to play them the way she does.
Everything he gets her is beautiful, made more beautiful by the fact she loves him more than anything, and it's the best day.
The best day.
The day would've been nothing short of perfect, and for the first time in a long time, Lena can say she hopes there are many more birthdays to come.
